This summer, two husky puppies are joining our pack and can’t wait to meet new friends. Every Saturday and Sunday from week 29, Tuva invites you to spend some time with the puppies, enjoying plenty of playtime, curious noses, and puppy cuddles.
Places are limited, so be sure to check the booking calendar for available dates.

Kennel visit
Would you like to meet our entire husky pack?
Three days a week, Tuva takes visitors into our large dog yard, where you’ll get to meet the huskies and learn more about life as a sled dog. You’ll help feed the dogs, and the visit ends with feeding and cuddling the puppies.
A perfect experience for anyone who loves dogs and wants to get up close to life with huskies at Skotten.

Our pigs
This summer, four new residents are moving to Skotten! Our pigs will be enjoying the good life in the mountains and are sure to become a favourite attraction for guests of all ages.
From the fireplace lounge, you can follow their daily adventures minute by minute and see what they get up to throughout the day. A fun new addition to Skotten and a contribution to a more sustainable mountain farm.

Skotten is the perfect starting point for both short and long mountain hikes. Whether you are looking for a peaceful evening walk to Skottåsen, a family-friendly hike to Breifallet, or a full-day adventure to Veslefjellet, there is something for everyone.

The Ringebu mountains offer several excellent fishing lakes and peaceful mountain ponds. Bring your fishing rod, relax by the water, and enjoy the tranquillity of the mountains.

Olsok
Join us for the biggest summer celebration of the year!
On 29 July, we invite you to our traditional Olsok celebration at Skotten. Enjoy homemade Norwegian sour cream porridge (rømmegrøt), live accordion music, a wonderful atmosphere, and our famous Cow Shit Bingo.
The festivities begin at 12:00 PM, with food served from 3:00 PM.
