Booking
You can easily book your stay by clicking the booking button in the bottom right corner of the page.
Here, you can choose the room that best suits you and your travel companions. An overview of all our rooms can be found further down on this page.
All rooms must be booked with either a Half Board Package, Full Board Package, or the Mountain Package.
We offer special rates for children. In the booking system, the age categories are:
• Children: 2–6 years
• Youth: 7–11 years
Dogs are welcome in Rooms 14, 15, and 16🐾

After a delicious breakfast, you'll be ready for a new day in the mountains. Discover beautiful hiking trails, a swimming and fishing lake just a ten-minute walk away, cross-country ski trails right outside the door, and miles of cycling opportunities.
After an active day, a homemade three-course dinner awaits – with a satisfaction guarantee. Or perhaps you'd prefer to spend the day in our cosy lounge with a game, a good book, and simply enjoy the peace and mountain life.

Room Overview
The accommodation at Skotten is built around the old mountain farm courtyard. Below, you can explore our different room types and see how they are arranged around the courtyard.
We offer a variety of rooms to suit different needs. In total, we have 36 beds spread across 15 rooms. Each room is unique, with a simple and cosy standard. Shared toilets and showers are located in the hallway.

Twin Room
A cosy room with two separate single beds. Perfect for friends, siblings, or anyone travelling together who prefers their own bed. The room is also suitable for solo travellers.
Double Room
Our double rooms are perfect for couples or friends looking for a comfortable stay in peaceful surroundings. Relax, unwind, and enjoy life in the mountains.
Cabin Bed Room
A practical and cosy room with a cabin bed and a single bed. Ideal for small families, friends, or anyone looking for flexible accommodation for two to three guests.
Family room
Our family rooms offer plenty of space for both children and adults. After a day of mountain adventures, gather together for board games, cosy evenings, and good conversation before another exciting day begins.

At Skotten, we value simplicity, authenticity, and a homely atmosphere. Our rooms are comfortable and unpretentious, with shared bathrooms and toilets located in the hallway.
Throughout the mountain farm, you'll find several inviting sitting areas where you can relax with a cup of coffee or a good book. The best view can be enjoyed from the fireplace lounge, the perfect place to warm up after a day outdoors.
In our dining room, we serve both breakfast and dinner, prepared with care using quality ingredients.
We also have a café offering homemade cakes, light meals, and other tempting treats, as well as a fully licensed bar.
And if you forgot your indoor shoes, don't worry — you're welcome to borrow a pair of our handmade felted wool slippers.
